Note: We looked at a personal possession, a plentiful provision, a precise place, a perfect pathway, a present protection, and now today a prepared prosperity.
Psalm 23 "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
Note: It’s a blessing to know that the Lord is our Shepherd.

Note: Even in the valley of death, we do not have to fear the evil around us - God is with us.
Note: Even in the wilderness of life.
Note: A Wonderful provision is made.
Psalm 78:19 "Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?"
Note: Can God supply our need even in the darkest of nights?
Note: In Numbers 11:1-14, many of the Children of Israel expressed the longing to go back to Egypt.
Note: They didn’t trust in their Shepherd.
Note: But in Psalm 23, David makes the point that even in the most difficult circumstances, God can come through for us.
